Scratches
It's been awhile hasn't it? Time doesn't fly, it teleports!
I just came back from doing my quiet time. This time it was quite.. different. I mean, it never is the same, but this time it was very very different. I usually go to the music rooms in the junior school to do my qt cos it's private, sound-proof and there are pianos. So i can jam all i want, and sing all i want, and no one will hear my croaking. But today it was different. For some reason, the junior school was locked! So i headed out to the football field and did my qt there. It was FREEzZING! But it didn't really bother me for some reason. The warmth of His love! :))
So.. i haven't blogged for half a month. What have i been up to? Honestly, it's same old same old. Tests, hw, md-yrs, university stuff... Well nothing special to report.
Oh wait, something just came to mind.
Yesterday, my friend Chiu came over to my sch to visit. He's from a different sch, but was a buddy from acsi. Back in the day man, back in the day. Anyway, so we hanged out till night, then we decided to get some supper with 2 other friends at dunbar, the neighbourhood in which my school is situated. After supper, we waited for Chiu's cousin to pick him up. It was aroudn 1145pm. While we were waiting, we noticed this group of white kids across the street. We knew they were gangsters and all, but we didnt' do anything. Lo and behold, they started throwing eggs at us. Eggs!! I mean.. okay, so they want to scare us off. By throwing eggs across the street?! Anyway, it wasn't worth the fight, or the egg yolk, so we took refuge in school. It really did piss us off, but what could we do? It wasn't worth it, it is never worth a fight, even if you are sure to win.
Anyway it really awakened the harsh reality of us actually getting jumped... But it's okay, angels will protect me.
Other than that, my holidays are coming up. One more week of school, and i'll have a 2 week break. Not going back to singapore though cos it's too pricey.. i really ought to save some money anyway, i'm costing my parents too mcuh (Ohhhh so guai! so dong shi!) . Yeah i figured that if i saved my parents money now, they may just get me a car when i'm in university! (Haha.. nah just kidding dad.) Now i'm looking for a decent place to stay. I don't really want to stay in anyone's house, cos it's for 2 weeks! I dont' want to be trouble for anyone. Called up almost all the bed n breakfast hotels and motels up in the lower mainlands area, and the cheapest i could find was 60 bucks a night with breakfast. Man... it'll still cost me an arm and a leg. Hope i'll be able to find a service apartment or something.... That'll be cool, with a kitchen and all. I'll cook my own meals, buy some rice, grow my own vegetables in the garden, rear some pigs... yeah that'll be cool.
I'm going to be online so much in the holidays... maybe i'll actually update my friendster profile! So till my holidays next week, so long...
